With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Brister Russell of Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Brister and Lucy Brister; her husband Jimmy Russell (Slick); her son Kelly Russell; and her sister Faye Brister Leach.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jamye Putman (Jimmy), Janith McManus (Dale) and Teresa Russell; her grandchildren, Amye Dechaume (Hubert), Rusty Putman, Katie Russell, Jay Russell, Joseph Shofner, Jonathon Shofner, Taylor and Tyler McManus; her great grandchildren, Brindon, Jordan Dechaume, Jason Parsons, Makenzie Shofner, Jordan Shofner and Hannah Shofner; and her sister Jean Brister Whitten. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Dresden Cemetery or Blooming Grove Methodist Church.
