It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita J. Edens (Corsicana, Texas), who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Kent Edens and Joseph Wesley Edens, Jr.; and her sister JoRene Helms. She is survived by: her niece Deah McCoy (Byron); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Wesley Helms, Ashley Garcini (Carlos), Colin Dowd (Sarah), Kent McCoy (Carly), Caleb McCoy (Katherine) and Katherine McCoy; and also, Brooks McCoy, Brady McCoy, Miller McCoy, Warren Dowd, Gavin Helms and Hadley Helms.
