He is survived by : his children, Mark Lee Bankes (Tenn) of Dickson, Marlee (Geoff Bostick), Ashley (David Herberger) of Cincinnatti, Lauren (Austin Owen) of McEwen, Alleigh Bankes of Dickson, Tenn. and April Lark Johansson of Amarillo; and his grandchildren, Annika (Brett Spalding) of Amarillo, Stefan Johansson and Monica Mosier of Cheyenne, Wyoming..

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at the Cadiz Union Cemetery (274 Charleston St, Cadiz, OH 43907).
