He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Kifer and Ella Heinemeyer Kifer; his siblings, Glyn Kifer and Vivian Rossow; and his son-in-law Perry Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Virgie Mae Nance of Cost; his children, Donise Kifer Wright of Austin and Darrell Kifer of Cost; his grandchildren, Kolby Zane Kifer (Mackinley) and Jacy Lauren Wright; his great grandchildren, Everett and Chandler; and his sister Linda Northcutt (Johnny) of Overton, TX.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
