He was predeceased by : his parents, Fidencio Hurtado and Maria Guadalupe Lopez; his son-in-law Jesus Banda; and his brother Raul Hurtado. He is survived by : his wife Maria Teresa Hurtado; his children, Juan M. Hurtado (Maria), Guillermo Hurtado (Sara Trevino), Jesus F. Hurtado, Maria G. Banda, Victor D. Hurtado (Rosalba Hurtado), Ricardo Hurtado (Thelma Hurtado) and Salvador Hurtado; and his siblings, Enrique, Jorge, Sergio Hurtado-Avina and Norma Hurtado. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
