He is survived by: his wife Delia Mendez of Odessa; his children, Tammy Ramos of Odessa, Veronica Galindo of Odessa, Kimberly (Gabriel McClelland), Allen (Jenn Mendez) and Albert (Melissa Mendez); his siblings, Felipa Mendez Sotelo (Oscar) of Dallas, Rosa Mendez Oyerbides (Federico) of Monahans, Esther Mendez Gonzalez (Francisco) of Natalia, Rodolfo Mendez (Maria) of San Antonio and Oscar Mendez of Monahans; his grandchildren, Evonnie Ramos, Dallan Galindo, Dorian, Taylor Ramos, Chloe Robledo, Gavin McClelland, Blake McBride, Charli, Codi Mendez, Mariah and Mercedes Mendez; and his great grandchild Jozia Diaz.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (1503 Andrews Hwy, Crane, TX 79731). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Crane County Cemetery (1505 Andrews Hwy, Crane, TX 79731).
