He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Mike, Lucia Gutierrez, Leo and Margaret Flores; his aunt Mary Duran; his uncle Edward Ornales; and his cousin Nichole Mikulenka.

He is survived by : his father Ruben (Mother Tomasa); his siblings, Robyn and Richie; his nieces, Jordan and Stevie Gutierrez; and his nephew Marcus Rey Gutierrez.

“I was very sad to hear of Rey’s passing. I worked with Rey at ONEOK. He was a great employee and an even greater person to know and talk with. He was so interesting to talk with about guns, the land he had acquired, or just everyday events.. Rey was missed when he took leave at ONEOK to finish the fight that eventually took him.
