It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cleriece Eva McPheters (Crockett, Texas), born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Fielding and Flossie Smith Fielding; her husband Leonard McPheters; and her children, Leonard Lamont McPheters, Jr., Polly Taylor, Robert McPheters (Debbie) and Ralph McPheters (Mary). She was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many friends.
Cleriece was the youngest of four children; she survived Tuberculosis at age five, and Covid at age 100.
Cleriece and Leonard were thrilled to be invited to George Bush's inaugural ball in Washington, D.C. In 2002, Cleriece established an Alzheimer's Day Group for individuals with neurological distress.
