He is survived by: his wife Judy Fortune Porter; his sons, Charles Chris Porter of Snyder and Tommy Lynn Porter (Audrey) of Cross Plains; his grandchildren, Tyler Porter (Caroline), Payton Porter and Taylor Mitchell (Lane); his great grandchildren, Wes Mitchell, Finn Porter and J. D. Mitchell; his sister Bonnie Illingsworth of Iowa Park, Texas; his sibling's children, Terry Fortune, Jerry Fortune, James Illingsworth, Vicki Gilmore, Cindy Langlois and Deana Terstegge; and his friends, Bonita Horton (McCowen) of David Jennings, J. B, Bodine, Jackie Pancake and Mike McClure.
