She is survived by : her husband Felipe Garcia; her siblings, Ralph (Josie Mendez), Raymond Lopez, Gloria Garcia and Mary Helen Carrillo; her daughters, Anita (Howard Goodman) and Esther McDaniel; and her former life partners, Alan McDaniel and Guadalupe (Mary Garcia). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and another great-great grandchild.
