He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Parker and Susie Parker. He is survived by : his wife Linda Parker; his children, Todd Parker and Ruth Parker; his siblings-in-law, Connie Hayden (Bill) and Alan McCulley (Vickie); his aunt Lois Ridgway; and also Carly Mack.

Later on he started biking which led to long distance charity rides.
