She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Nelson and Sarah Gladys McKnight Beavers; her husband Joe H. Williams; and her brother Luther Morris Beavers. She is survived by: her children, Diane Dockery and Jarvis Williams; her grandsons, Alec Dockery, Adam Dockery and Lane Williams; her siblings, Syble Williams, Sylvia Stewart and Albert Beavers (Betty); and her friend Carolyn Blankenship. She is also survived by three nieces and six nephews.
