He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Boatright and Marion Boatright; and his siblings, Jesse Boatright, Billy Boatright, Leon Boatright, Howard Boatright, Toni Berry, Reba Brock and James Sharp (Alinda).

He is survived by : his wife Carynne Boatright; his children, Thomas Boatright, James Boatright (Aysiah), Wyatt Sharp and Rylee Sharp; and his siblings, Tom Yoss (Nelda), T. Marie Shackelford (Wade), Tim Yoss (Patty), Tammie Helm, Veda Goines (Charley "Pickles"), Barbara Elmore (Conrad), Floyd "George" Boatright (Teresa), Albert Boatright (Nae), Thomas Sharp, Hank, Alice Boatright and Melissa Sharp.
