He was predeceased by: his parents, Seline Rosenzweig Gerson and Daniel Gerson; his brother Phillip Gerson; and his grandson Ryan Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Dorothea Brown Gerson of Cypress; his former wife Charlyn Segell Robinson; his sister Teri Wathen (Ray); his daughters, Cindy Bennett (Dan) and Amanda Aznar (Adam); and his grandchildren, Paige Linekin (Conor), Evan Aznar, Kailee Aznar and Michael Bennett (Megan). He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial contribution be made to a charity of your choice.
