She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester Moody and Viola Moody (Scott); her siblings, Ruthie Moody, JB Moody and Hattie (Davis); and her daughter Gwendolyn (Diggs).

She is survived by : her siblings, Bertha (Greenlee), Lula (Morris), John Moody and Willie B. Moody; her son Mitchell Moody; her grandchildren, Valisa Hawkins-Marshall, Chamika Hawkins Taylor and Johnetta Diggs; her great grandchildren, Debrandeon, Kiera Smith, Caleb Diggs and Ashlyn Taylor; and her great great grandchildren, Kylin and Kalani Smith.
