She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Fern Field (Hamilton); her husband David Carter; her children, Billy Carter (Courtney) of Dalhart, Thomas Carter of Dalhart and Katy Simerly (Michael) of Amarillo; her granddaughters, Zoe Carter, Hadley and Henley Simerly; her sisters, Leslie Reeves (Bobby) of Deer Park and Laurie Forks (Ronnie) of Montgomery; her father James Murray Field; her stepfather George Hamilton; and also Fern Hamilton of Amarillo. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and countless beloved friends.
