He was predeceased by: his wife Polly Hilliard; his parents, Addison Hilliard and Effie Hilliard; his siblings, Q. R. Hilliard, Ruth Bennett, June Priddy, Lois Young and Franz Hilliard; and his sons-in-law, Peyton Treadwell and Greg Willis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanette (Don Klingler), Judy Willis, Toney Treadwell and Terri (David Zettler); his grandchildren, Kandice, Cody Sheffield, Carye, Aaron Abitz, John Wade, Christine Zettler, Taylor Treadwell, Haley Zettler, Kyle Treadwell and Rachel Zettler; his great grandchildren, Nicole Lovitt, Andi Zettler and Ryley Thompson; his great great grandchildren, Kinley and Axcel Scarberry; and his brother Charles Hilliard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
