Though Ava may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ava touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her significant other Daniel Shawver; her parents, Christopher Lawson White and Joann Lauren Chatfield; her brother Mitchel Reese McQuarie (Amber); and her nephew Sawyer James.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Park United Methodist Church (3300 Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75205).
