He is survived by: his wife Patsy Murphy Tigert Cox; his children, Leann Weatherly and Ben Kyle Cox; his grandson Zach Middleton; his brother Jerry Cox; his stepson David Tigert; his stepgrandchildren, Richard Tigert and Mandy Tigert; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ashton, Haley and Aidan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
