He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvaro Villanueva and Feliza Villanueva; his siblings, Gilbert, Ruben, Angelita Cantu and Carmen Enriquez; and his granddaughter Feliza Villanueva.

He is survived by : his children, Mary, Eddie, Angie and Liz; his grandchildren, Brian Blackstock, Lindsey James, Celest, Cecilia Villanueva, Lauren, Aaron Hipps and Nathan Chase; his wife Evangelina; and his siblings, Sonny Villanueva, Connie Monreal and Janie Alvarez. He is also survived by friends and relatives.
