It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily High Hartnett (Dallas, Texas), born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her parents, Will Ford and Emmie Tanner High; her son Robert Hartnett; her granddaughter Hayden Hartnett; and her sister Anita High Myers Sessoms.
She is survived by: her children, Will Hartnett, Sr. (Tammy Cotton), Jim Hartnett, Jr. (Anne Perreault), Ellen Crim (Randy Crim), Jay Hartnett, Sr. (Deborah Gillum), Fred Hartnett (Nancy Martinson) and Melinda Hartnett (Chris Ellis); her grandchildren, Will Hartnett, Jr., Winston Hartnett, Warner Hartnett, Tanner Hartnett (Braden Brown), KJ Hartnett (Shay Galland), Michael Hartnett (Elizabeth Canon), Emily Crim, Patrick Crim (Katie Vandenberge), Andrew Crim (Bailey Loden), Charlotte Sehres (Josh Sehres), Jay Hartnett, Jr., Heidi Hartnett, Hatcher Hartnett, Hayes Hartnett, Henry Hartnett, Sienna Ellis, Christopher Ellis, Tabitha Ellis, Sophia Ellis and Tatum Ellis; her great grandchildren, Bode Brown, Benn Brown and Andi Brown; and her sibling's children, George Richard Myers, III and Ann Myers Lowery. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Cistercian Abbey Church (3550 Cistercian Rd, Irving, TX 75039). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (9933 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75220).
