With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ethan Hawkins Heatly (Dallas, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ethan Hawkins left this world on July 16, 2025 at the age of 23, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Bob Gilliam of Kingwood, TX and Tommy Barton of Kingwood, TX.. He is survived by: his parents, Gene Heatly and Rhonda Heatly of Dallas, TX; his sister Kyra Heatly (Niels Appeldorn) of Austin, TX; and his grandparents, Gene, Judy Heatly of Vernon, TX, Ann Gilliam and Jeanie Barton. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225). Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (4015 S Hampton Rd, Dallas, TX 75224). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Home Cemetery.
