It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guadalupe Ortega of Dallas, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Ortega and Maximina Ortega; and his siblings, Mario Ortega, Lorenzo Ortega, Salvador Ortega and Alicia Ortega.
He is survived by: his wife Zenaida; his children, Lilia (Michael Garza) of Red Oak, Leticia Ortega (Mario Moreno) of Dallas, Lorena (Rene Duran) of Ferris, Lorenzo Ortega of Dallas and Guadalupe Ortega Jr. of Dallas, Texas; and his siblings, Gilbert Ortega of Pleasant Grove, Margarita Ortega of Monterey, Mexico and Olivia Cantu of Dallas, Texas.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren: ten great-grandchildren.
