He is survived by : his parents, Eduardo Castillo and Maria; his wife Rosa Castillo; his children, Hector Castillo, Jr., Kimberly Castillo, Crystal Castillo and Christopher Castillo; his grandchildren, Matthew Castillo, Adelyn Velazquez, Camdon Castillo and Aitana Velazquez; and his siblings, Eduardo Castillo, Diana Castillo, David Castillo, Sylvia Castillo, Carlos Castillo and Jacqueline Castillo.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home (12649 Lake June Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Laurel Oaks Memorial Park (12649 Lake June Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180).
