She is survived by : her children, Rose, Cynthia, Wanda, Louis Jr. and Shannel; her grandchildren, Lacresha, Farron, Nicole, Amireya, Louis III (Tre) and Nevayah; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Cameron, Kaden, Kendall and Scarlett; and her siblings, Willie Frank, Gloria Jean, Ella Mae, Henry Leral, Mertie Marie, Johnny Ray, Bobby Leonard and Regina Kaye. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home (6449 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, TX 75241). A wake was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Union Missionary Baptist Church (3410 S Polk St, Dallas, TX 75224).
