He was predeceased by: his parents, Donaldson Doyle Dover and Essie Rucks Dover; and his wife Margaret Moody Dover. He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Pratt (George), Jim Dover (Ellen) and Don Dover; and his grandchildren, Miller Pratt, Crystan, Davison, Avery, James and Maggie Dover.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers a contribution be made to Bluff Park United Methodist Church Youth Ministry.
