He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Suzanne; his children, Curtis Houston Crabtree (Diane) of Dallas and Suzannah Leigh Elsherbini of Carrollton, Texas; his sister Mary Elizabeth Canaday of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Lauren, Catherine Crabtree, Austin and Logan Elsherbini; and his parents, Hilda Yarbrough Crabtree and Medford Columbus Crabtree.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cancer Support Community of North Texas.
