James Hilliard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hilliard of Dallas, Texas, who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. George McIntosh Hilliard Jr. and Irby McKenzie Hilliard; his in-laws, Charles and Betty Jo McCall; and his son John David Goldberg.
He is survived by: his sister Sally Ann; his wife Beth McCall Hilliard; his siblings, Dr. George Hilliard III and Sally Hilliard Shank; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Charles McCall Jr. (Wanda) and Ree McCall Witt (Carl); his children, Brooke Hilliard Mercer (Mike), Dr. Stuart Hilliard (Amy) and Ree Lowery (Monte); his grandchildren, Campbell Mercer, Collin Crawford, Reese Lowery, Payton Crawford, Hank Mercer, Ben Lowery, Jack Goldberg, Harrison Hilliard and Scarlett Mercer; his pets, Montana, Magnolia and Anabelle; and also Jennifer Goldberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
