He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Brown and Grace Brown; his sisters, Lyna Brown Boyd and Ruby Brown; his former wife Annette Tarkington Brown; his daughters, Coelene Brown Frazier (Randy) and Valerie Brown; and his nephew Bradley Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Elba Brown; his son Russ Brown (Myong Hee); his stepdaughter Andrea Grammer (Tom); and his granddaughter Ashley Brown. He is also survived by grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
