He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph "Joe" Paul and Ora Lee Jenkins; his son Darrell W. Paul; and his siblings, Joseph "Jack" Paul, Benjamin Paul, Cleophus Paul, David Paul, Eddie D. Paul, Theodis Paul, Freeman Paul and Mary Joyce Pearson.

He is survived by : his children, Yolanda Paul-Fuller, Christi Paul, Jerry LeAndre Paul (Tenisha) and Sean Fuller; his grandsons, Nicholas, Niles Fuller, Jordan and Justin Paul; his siblings, Rosetta Smith, Sallye Lewis, Shirley Jeter and Barbara Paul; and his close friends, Albert Lee and Eartha Pearson.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home - Dallas (4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
