He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Lee Taylor Sr. and Cleadis Allen Taylor; his wife Ella Mae Taylor; his sons, Timothy Taylor and Byron Darty; and his siblings, Rose Taylor, Ruby Taylor, Geneva Fields and James Lee Taulor.
He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer Blanton; his children, Sherry Lynn Jackson (Billy Ray), Jimmie Terry Taylor Jr. (Gayla), Kerry Taylor, Tyrone Williams (Brittany), Abby Barnes (Kenneth) and Michael Williams (Regina); and his siblings, Willie Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, Robert Taylor (Gracie), Johnny Taylor and Janie Patterson. He is also survived by grandchildren; (30) great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
