He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Taylor and Clarice Taylor; his wife Virginia Carter Taylor; and his sister Sandra Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn, Kevin Strempke, Gordon and Kelly Taylor; his grandsons, Lawson Taylor and Coleman Taylor; and his niece Allison Taylor Raines.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakewood United Methodist Church (2443 Abrams Rd, Dallas, TX 75214).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lakewood United Methodist Church in Dallas or to the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
