He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Pershing Anderson and Mary Keys Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Presley Anderson; his children, David Anderson (Marian), Justin Anderson (Sherrie), Rebecca Jackson (Jeff Jackson) and Laura Bruder (Andrew Bruder); his siblings, Sally Clark (Michael Clark) and Jim Anderson (Kathy); his grandchildren, Sophia Anderson, Julian Anderson, Allie Anderson, Leah Anderson, Rachel Jackson, Luke Jackson, Will Jackson, Louise Bruder, June Bruder and Graham Bruder; and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Taylor and Suzanne Griffin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
