She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Whittington and Ruby Whittington; her husband Carl William Smith; her children, Johnny Matia, Carla D'wan and Cindy Leah; and her close friends, Jo Wood and Mary Alas. She was also cherished by her 2 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her younger brother as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins.
