He was predeceased by: his godparents, Verna Bates and Robert Keim. He is survived by: his mother Linda; his stepfather David Brooks; his brother Max; his grandparents, Barbara and Lowell Carlson; his aunt Jeanie; his uncle Bret Berg; and his cousin Thomas Hamelink.
