He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Wayne "Shorty" Spencer Sr. and Billy Ruth Spencer; his brother Jimmy Lee Spencer; and his parents-in-law, Stanley and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Spencer; his children, Kristy (Jason), Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Ian (Keta); his grandchildren, Katy (Josh), Kyle, Julia, Evelyn, Sarah and J. D.; his great grandchildren, Amelia and Olivia; his siblings, Sharon (Jim), Ricky, Debbie and Karen (Doug); and his sisters-in-law, Helen, Cathy and Alice. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Byrum Funeral Home Chapel (425 N Dallas Ave, Lancaster, TX 75146). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
