He is survived by: his children, Timira Thompson, Emtecia Jackson (DeAndre Sr.) and Imir Thompson (Shatavia); his grandchildren, Jermani Jackson, Ashia Jackson, DeAndre Jackson Jr., Glori Jackson and Zyanna Thompson; and his siblings, Carnell Thompson, Jimmy Lee Tilford, Betty Jean Joubert, Donna Garrett, Marilyn Green, Kathy Leshaw and Stevie Thompson.
