He was predeceased by: his parents, German Peña and Agueda Peña; and his brother Ricardo Peña. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Peña; his sons, Jose Luis Peña (Micaela), Armando Peña (Carol) and German Peña (Alejandra); and his siblings, Armando Peña, Ruben Peña, Roberta, Enedina, Rosalinda, Petra and San Juanita. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
