She was predeceased by : her former life partner Joe Case; her husband Ron McAlister; her parents, John Alonzo Grubbs and Sarah Millis Grubbs; her son Joey Case; and her sisters, Edna Fitzpatrick, Mary Nell Walker, Dorothy Bridges, Mattie Bridges, Willie Sue Smith and Jeanie Herrington.
She is survived by : her children, Tim Noud, Sterling McAlister, Mark Ash (Kate) and Debbie Martin (Stephen). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
