He was predeceased by: his son Mart Matthew Thomas, III; and his parents, Mart Sr. Thomas and Earle Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his pets, Boomer, Rico and Debbie. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and many friends.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice.
