She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Coates and Gay Coates; her siblings, David Coats, Thomas Coats, Jay Coates, Wayne Coats, Victor Coats, Paul Coats and Ellen Keele; and her daughter Deidra Hargrove.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Hargrove; her children, Walker (Pam) of Farmers Branch, TX and Meleine Mills (Garland Rychlik) of Austin, TX; her sister Peggy Conrad of Oklahoma City; and her granddaughter Rachel Hargrove of Farmers Branch, TX.
