She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hernandez and Isabella Hernandez; her husband Simon Salazar; her son Moses Salazar; her grandson Chris Salazar; and her brothers, Abraham, Max, Roy, Frank, Joseph and Jessie Hernandez.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Salazar Winchester, Marcos Salazar, Linda Langley (Mike), Elias Salazar (Cyndy), Randy Salazar, Timothy Salazar (Rhonda) and Shelly Sanders; and her siblings, Richard (Shane Hernandez), Daniel (Gloria Hernandez), Lucy Anderson, Julia (Fernando Gonzalez) and Johnny (Lupe Hernandez). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
