It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitsuye Tanamachi (Dallas, Texas), who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her significant other Tom Tanamachi; her sons, Cary Tanamachi of Mesquite, Art Tanamachi of Houston and Rodney Tanamachi of Dallas; and her brother Saburo "Smokey" Nimura. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
