He was predeceased by: his brother James Ray Baxter; and his brother-in-law Jerry Salzar. He is survived by: his parents, Ruby C. Loftis Baxter and Russell Baxter; his wife Frances Baxter of Dallas; his children, Julie Baxter Cornelison of San Diego and Brett Baxter of Abu Dhabi; his grandchildren, Austin Baxter of Frisco and Braden Baxter of Frisco; and his siblings, Joe Baxter of Kerens and Evadne Salzar of Grand Prairie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
