It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby LaNell Humphrey (Dallas, Texas), born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Weaver Binford and Reverend Theo Binford; her husband Charles; her sons, Jay Hudson Humphrey and Jed Weaver Humphrey; and her sister Marilyn Binford Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Dawson Humphrey of Dallas and Marsha Humphrey Bowman (Willis) of Cookville; her grandchildren, Meredith Humphrey Bingham (Jacob) of Amarillo, Bryce Humphrey (Stefanie) of New York City, Laurelyn Humphrey Adams (Franklyn) of McKinney, Eryn Humphrey Springer (Josh) of Dallas, Lindsay Humphrey Booker of Amarillo and Jordan Humphrey of Dallas; her great grandchildren, Blakely Booker, Elliott Springer, Hudson Humphrey, Libby Humphrey, Bobby Springer, Josiah Bingham and Will Humphrey; and her friend Millie Wheeless. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
