Virgina Cassin Obituary

She was predeceased by : her mother Maude Hinckley Robie; her husband William A. Cassin (Bill); her father Ted Robie; her brother Bill Robie; and her nephew David Brown Robie.
She is survived by : her children, Sheila MacLaughlin (Rick), Sean Cassin, Michael Cassin (Barbara), Patrick Cassin, Sharon Cassin Frame, Timothy Cassin (Marcia), Brain Cassin (Donna) and Kieran Cassin (Jeri). She is also survived by grandkids.
Until the time of Covid came along, Ginie enjoyed the friendship of many dear neighbors as well as the happiness of gathering with her extended family of children, grandchildren and great grandkids in the Brainerd Lakes area.
After "retirement" Ginie and Bill became actively involved members of the Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park. They spent tireless hours helping foundation purchase and renovating the birthplace of Hemingway, which eventually became a world-class birthplace museum.
