It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Frank Mitchem in Dallas, Texas, born in Lindale, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrell Mitchem and Altitia Mitchem; his siblings, Douglas, Max, Louie, Linda and Toledo; and his siblings' children, Raygaryon, Aldrick, Deirdre and Monique.
He is survived by: his wife Dollie Jones; his children, Derrick, Ganesha and Rashida (Lakendrick); his siblings, Robert, Sandra, Marva and Lucy; his grandchildren, Xyavia, Apple, Kyan and Ivy; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Baron, Bishop and Sevyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Paul Baptist Church (1600 Pear St, Dallas, TX 75215). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Restland Funeral Home, Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243).
