She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Samuel and Luetta Carrington; and her brother Corp. She is survived by: her husband Egbert Hood; her children, Albert, Yves, Egbert II (Chip) and Tisha-Vonique; her grandchildren, Chelsea Maxwell, Solana and Ysephony Hood; her great grandchildren, Amari and Addisyn Maxwell; her sisters, LaVerne Duncan (Jackie), Barbara Carrington and Verdell Burnett; and her half-siblings, Mariel Samuel and Wilhelm Samuel, Jr.. She is also survived by four nephews, one niece and numerous other relatives.
