We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024, at the age of 95, Irene Mary (Gassmann) Bohac of Damon, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank J. Gassmann and Pauline A. Gassmann (Berger); her husband Edwin E. Bohac; and her brothers, Erwin F. Gassmann and Benjamin Gassmann.

She is survived by : her children, Andrew Bohac (Karen), David Bohac (Karen), Kara McCormick (Mike) and Jeffry Bohac; her grandchildren, Aron Bohac (Carrie), Anissa Miller (TJ), Denna Hardy, Jillian Peavler, Robert Bohac (Amanda), Chrissy Fedro, Addie Fedro, Nathan McCormick, Kelsey Chavez (Arturo), Coty Bohac (Jadi), Dustin Bohac (Gillian) and Shane Bohac; and her sister-in-law Cynthia Gassmann Barton. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church (603 Mulcahy Ave, Damon, TX 77430). A rosary was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (603 Parrot St, Damon, TX 77430).
