Billie Sue Sanders Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Sue Sanders of Dawson, Texas, who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottma Matthews and Flora Matthews (Bankston); her husband Cecil Sanders; her son Darrell; and her daughter-in-law Brenda.
She is survived by: her son Ron Sanders (Patti) of Dawson; her grandchild Shaun Sanders (Megan); her great grandchild Rhett; and her children, Elaina, Liam, Emma, Lucas, Evelyn, Norah and Maggie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wade Funeral Home (201 NW 3rd St, Hubbard, TX 76648). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Dawson (407 N Main St, Dawson, TX 76639). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Spring Hill Cemetery Association or the Dawson Ex-Students Association.
